Meet Lexington's Police Officers

Meet our police officers for the city of Lexington.


aubry resizedOfficer Tabor Aubrey
In 2015, Tabor Aubry was hired full-time as a Police Officer with the Lexington Police Department and is a graduate of the Illinois Police Training Institute in 2015.  He graduated from Illinois State University in Criminal Justice in 2012 as well as graduating from Parkland College in Criminal Justice in 2011.  He is a graduate of Morris Community High School where he played various sports throughout those years which included ice hockey, baseball and football.  In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, working out and being with family and friends.

Officer Dustin Carter (LX3) grew up in Hoopeston (grades 1-6) and LeRoy (grades 7-12) IL.  His father, Dennis Carter, is a retired Chief of Police.  Dustin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lincoln University with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and a minor in Criminal Justice studies.  Dustin has worked full-time at State Farm for the past 17 years and is currently an IT Manager in the Systems Department.  He also officiates baseball, football, and basketball working in multiple conferences at the high school and collegiate levels.  Outside of work, Dustin enjoys staying current with emerging technologies attending professional sporting events, and playing the piano.  Dustin is excited to be part of the Lexington Police Department and serving the community with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.

eckhoff resizedOfficer Caleb Eckhoff
Officer Caleb Eckhoff was born in Minnesota in July 1991, living there until kindergarten.  He then moved to Iowa, and resided there for seven years.  Being a Pastors child, he moved again in his 8th grade year to East Peoria, IL, where he stayed until he graduated in 2010.  He attended Eureka College for three years, and last New Year's Eve he married his 8th grade sweetheart.  His hobbies include spending time with his wife, friends, golfing, and participating in his church's bell choir.  When he is not doing those things, he spends time cheering on his favorite sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings.
