Lexington Police Department will be accepting applications for a full time police officer. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, clean criminal record, be at least twenty one years of age and be able to pass Illinois State Training Board Physical Fitness Test for police officers. Applications can be picked up at the Lexington City Hall Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. or downloaded from the City of Lexington’s Web site. Return applications along with current resume to the Lexington City Hall or post marked no later than 4:30 P.M. July 23rd, 2018. If you have applied with the department in the past, you must resubmit a new application and resume.

The City Council Meeting scheduled for July 9th has been cancelled due to lack of a quorum.  The next meeting is scheduled for July 23rd at 7:00pm.
